Los Angeles, CA – CBSSPORTS.com is calling on all sports bloggers and fans to enter for a chance to compete in the Ultimate College Basketball Elimination Game, Last Fan Standing 2010. On March 12th, 2010, 64 entries will be chosen to compete in this first of its kind competition. They will then randomly be assigned their own team from the tourney. Contestants will be eligible to win bigger and better prizes each time their team wins. Alternatively, elimination will occur upon the defeat of their team. The last four contestants remaining will fly to Vegas with a friend to watch the games on April 3rd from the Las Vegas Mirage Hotel and Casino. The two remaining teams that move on to the championship will fly from Vegas to Indianapolis (also with a friend) to see the game live on April 4th. Finally, the Last Fan Standing will win the opportunity to write for CBSSPORTS.com.
“What we have here is a sports blogger’s dream.” says Woo Agency’s Ty Lifeset, Creator of Last Fan. “No other sports site out there has found a way to bring the glory of the office pool to the blogger world, so it’ll be a lot of fun watching this play out.”
Corporate co-sponsors of Last Fan Standing 2010 include Lenovo Laptops and the Las Vegas Mirage Hotel and Casino. There is no purchase necessary to enter, nor will purchases improve any contestant’s chances of winning. For official rules or to enter, go to www.lastfanstanding2010.com.

This story appeared again on CNN and FOX News after its original broadcast on CBS!
There are few shows on the radio today that take on the issues of addiction, abuse, anger, marriage, divorce, depression and parenting. There is only one show on the radio today that does it with controversy, honesty, excitement and…comedy?
OUTREACH! with DENNIS BROWN broadcasts on 97.1 FREE FM Saturdays from 11pm-midnight. It was created to bring hope and awareness to a demographic of southern California men and women ages 18 to 55.
The show supports the NESS COUNSELING CENTER, a non-profit, non-sectarian community based outpatient counseling service agency that provides a full range of life enhancing services, including, but not limited to, individual and family counseling, drug and alcohol treatment programs, drug assessments, drug testing, paternity testing, parenting classes, monitored child exchange and visitation, domestic violence/anger management group sessions, and hate crime educational classes in the greater Los Angeles area.
Host Dennis Brown is the Executive Director of the NESS Counseling Center. He has been helping individuals and families who have fallen victim to addiction and abuse for over 30 years. His approach to recovery is non-judgmental; however, he accepts no excuses.
Co host and Producer Daniel “Doc” Ferszt is President of Global Point Public Relations. Doc has over 20 years of experience in entertainment and comedy and provides a funny counter point to Dennis. The dynamic between Dennis and Doc keeps the show fresh and appealing to listeners, who frequently call in to discuss the topics in play.
“I’m a skeptical guy,” says Doc. “But when I see how many people Dennis and the staff at the NESS Center help continuously, I am moved beyond words. I had to bring this to a medium that would affect thousands. Radio is that medium and I knew it would work.”
Dennis agrees, “Call me a co-dependent, but I love my work. People need to know that they have a place to turn to when rock bottom comes knocking.”
And every week, more and more people show that to be true. They turn the dial to OUTREACH! with DENNIS BROWN.
